There are angels here at DU!

Now before the atheists descend upon this thread like a plague of locusts, let's look at the definition of "angel" I'm using--

Angel--someone who, out of the goodness of their heart, donates in another person's name so that they can create a sticky. They do this knowing that their name will not be known.

Special thanks to MY angel who gave me this wonderful gift today! And thanks to ALL the angels here! You make DU a very special place!

I really don't think Ayesha was out to offend anyone. Think of how people would have reacted (myself included) if she had made a post here in GD about literal angels. There would be a flood of calls for evidence and snarky comments which would obscure the point of whatever she was trying to say. Of course I agree that looking for evidence is the proper response, but Ayesha still has a point about what would happen to a thread about angels. Her locust comment, to me at least, seemed more sarcastic than malicious.
