Rachel Maddow Is Possibly The Best Guest Washington Journal Has Ever Had On

She has been on Washington Journal for the last hour and it is the very best segment I have ever seen on the program.

If you get a chance to watch it later tonight I would recommend it and if not you should catch it on-line once it has been posted at the C-Span site.

She was one of the best quests I've ever watched on WJ. She's brilliant and has an incredible grasp on Politics. She was able to stay on point at all times and relate it in such a way that anyone could comprehend what she was saying. But what else is new? Since I've first heard her, I knew she rocked!!!!

8. Wow. She's great. I really liked the caller asking about her listeners versus Rush's...

...from Texas, of course... who asked (in an implying manner) how her ratings compared with Rush's...

First, let me dissect the caller's thinking. WE ARE TOLD that the radio business responds to ratings - what's most popular. Liberal talk radio ratings are a small fraction of conservative ratings, therefore (and thusly) "Americans are conservative", otherwise there'd be more parity in political talk radio... QED.

But Maddow made a very point. When AAR started (and IEAmerica), talk radio was ONE HUNDRED PERCENT conservative. And it hit me.

Look at voting, Democrat versus Republican of the Congress, Senate, Governors, etc. Even when Republics had majorities, there were still plenty of Democrats. So, how is the ONE HUNDRED PERCENT right wing slant of talk radio ANY reflection on what Americans are?

She was VERY polite (more than I could have handled), light, bright and nice. In a word: WONDERFUL.

I can cruise the AM dial and find Rush four different places where I live. Yeah, that makes sense.

12. Rachel Maddow is just a great guest period.

She kicks ass when she is on Olberman, and she doesn't get stiff and quiet like other liberal talk radio hosts. I think she should have her own TV Political talk show.
