A log cabin Republican I know said that he may have to vote Democratic this time |
|
All the people on the Republican side are courting the conservative Christian vote. "I'm not voting for someone who wants to put me in jail" he said.
Of our candidates, he likes Obama the best, but could see himself voting for any of them, except Hillary. He joked that if she became president, he'd move out of the country.
One of my other Conservative friends also said he thought he could vote for Obama, as he liked JFK, and thought Obama's politics were a lot like JFK's.
Most of the log cabin Republicans he knows are also uneasy with the current crop of Republican candidates, so I'm wondering if we may gain some votes there.

4. The difference is that he didn't see Bush as having it in his agenda front and center |
|
But he thinks that all of the current crop are making it a priority

7. Other than a question, I don't have anything to add to this |

discussion. Why are they called Log Cabin Republicans? I've always wanted to know how that name came about.

13. Sad thing was, this guy said in 2004 that alot of his gay friends were on his case |
|
saying he HAD to vote for Kerry.
After the election, he found out many of them didn't bother to vote.
We gotta do better than that this time.
