I think Chairman Waxman is just emphasizing the point that "oversight is back" by having the full committee hold hearings on some of these blockbuster issues.

I gotta say,big pharma and their criminal activities have never been high on my list of priorities of things to pay attention too.I'm sure Rep Waxman will enlighten me as to why I,and others, should be paying attention.

I understand what you mean. I'm sure if you pay attention to the hearing today, as you stated, you will be shown "why" this matter is just another one that needs oversight and accountability..as does everything else going on these days.

People can't afford to take medicine. They have to chose between food and heat/electric and meds. Nice choice. While we are being robbed in everyone of these areas. It's disgusting and it's cause for serious investigation and punitive action.

8. Heard that

It made me cringe.
Had a schedule change today so I was able to halfway listen in.What caught my ear was when they were talking about how many ways there are to commit fraud and how some businesses were set up from fraudulent business models in order to take advantage of this fact.
