3. 'repression' is a many splintered word.
Some people oppress others without realizing it.

31. Or maybe that's not it at all.
Maybe some people just normally live double lives. It's not repression if they have a completely other life. And I think this goes to the core of why our country is so screwed up. People have two faces.

4. Deep shame issues surrounding their sexuality

Dishonesty about their sexual selves manifests into perversions & debasing behavior. Instead of being open & honest, they live a lie, & sometimes they get caught.

9. Remember, sex education is evil. Contraceptives are evil.
Homosexuals are evil. All sex is evil.

(This seems to be the line of thinking anyway.)

34. That's right...
You know the GOP stance is that the only acceptable sex is the "lily-white-missionary-in-the-dark-under-the-covers-fumbling-through-layers-of-flannel-mama-in-her-kerchief-i-in-my-cap-turn-your-head-aside-and-pretend-it-isn't-happening-this-is-my-marital-duty-for-the-purpose-of-procreation-only-and-spend-the-next-week-in-confession-'cause-I'm-ashamed-it-feels-good" sex.

17. You're threading into dangerous territory
Most conservatives charge that this is part of the 'gay lifestyle' or 'liberal lifestyle'.

27. The term you used is telling
No offense to you of course, just pointing out something of what I am trying to get to:

"charge that this is part of the" - the term charge here seems to indicate that maybe both parties are against the behavior, in which case it makes me think: 'if he is a hypocrite for doing it, does that mean a liberal/dem caught doing it would not be one and hence imply they endorse such behavior'?

14. Two possibilities:
1) They get so intoxicated with their power from the media and subservient dems, like the paper that spiked the story of this guy, that they think they can literally walk around with their dicks hanging out and nobody can complain.
2) They are all sexual deviants from the start, and are blackmailed into becoming republican politicians by their evil shadowy handlers.

Your typical Bush Republican is a twisted husk of human. Doing what they hate brings them happiness. Maybe that is why there are so few of them in real life.

21. They have to do it that way
Men of their position can't just go to a gay bar San Francisco. Being indiscreet may be OK for the unwashed masses, but not a Republican Congressman. What would they say on K Street? His campaign funding and other forms of kickbacks would all dry up.

The heterosexuals among them are much more fortunate. They would never hail a streetwalker. They call escort services they when they want what might pass for love in more sensitive people.

28. ..because we only have unisex bathrooms
If we had both-sex bathrooms it wouldn't just be gay. It's kind of a "duh" that the "gay" part is irrelevant and only the case because that's the only kind of bathrooms we have.
