way, but Jim Jeffords was one of the most decent men in the Senate- even before he left the repukes and handed the Senate to the dems. He was certainly NO fascist. He was:

A dedicated environmentalist
Incredibly strong on special ed issues
voted against the Iraq war
and much more.
