The surge in Iraq was to give breathing space for the Iraqi GOVERNMENT to become a viable force in the country. Our guys have done their part, they put the opposition on its heels, but the Iraqi government has dropped the ball.

Little george bush needs to face the facts. He must abandon this war in Iraq and bring the troops home.

most of the poltical groups making up the Iraqi government have resigned, and the rest went on vacation

meanwhile... if you ask a republik about funding programs to help the poor (like health care, food stamps, or other assistance) they will tell you the poor need to stand up by themselves

but ask them about Iraq - and they tell you we will stand down when the iraqis stand up
