The Great * Fault Line: They Couldn't Organize Their Way Out Of A Paper Bag
So now we hear that the WH is, and has been wracked by infighting, and that the business interests that put HIM in the WH , as well as pushed for war, are not happy because things haven’t worked out as planned. Threads on DU and HuffPo have imparted the truth about these masters of the universe

Well of course they haven’t, and that is the fault line. It was always destined and will be one of the saving graces of our country. Other than stealing elections, which is the one thing they did efficiently and how they got to where they are, these people can’t organize anything properly. Not a war, hurricane relief or anything.

They couldn’t organize their way out of a paper bag.

They couldn’t organize a cocktail party

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are more efficient than them

If they relied on skills rather than cronyism they couldn’t even get hired at McDonald’s

1. So much for the "Decider" crap...
During a private dinner at the White House to discuss how to buoy Bush's presidency, seven advisers voted to dump Rumsfeld, including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, incoming chief of staff Joshua B. Bolten, the outgoing chief, Andrew H. Card Jr., and Ed Gillespie, then an outside adviser and now White House counselor. Bush raised his hand along with three others who wanted Rumsfeld to stay, including Rove and national security adviser Stephen J. Hadley. Rumsfeld was ousted after the November elections.

"Over here, Guys."

"Over here."

"Hey. Guys?"

"Guys?"

"Fuck off, Junior. We make the real decisions around here."

3. "Socialism for the rich, survival of the fittest for the rest of us." K*R

That's the deal. The elections comment is central - they can't win unless the game is rigged.

To rig the game they must be in power.

Therefore, they exert maximum effort to steal elections in order to survive.

Look at the phone companies. They accumulate a pile of cash through a guaranteed 10% profit on top of costs - for decades. Then, they wait out the internet revolution, go around and buy up the really innovative companies, and what do we have - the crappiest fiber optic, high speed internet system possible. We're behind Korea, many European countries, Japan .... but the game is rigged, by Bushco for his buddies cuz, THEY CAN'T DO IT ON THEIR OWN.

If shaming the country and ruining it's future are talent though, they have that down cold.

4. 'They Can't Do It On Their Own'
They can't even ruin our country though the odds were in their favor and they've given it a damn good try. We'll recover, in time, hopefully with lessons learned.

They're in the twilight of their reign. It gave me giggles to read how Bartlett and Rove hate each other and I didn't even need schaudenfreud to get there. It was bound to come crashing down around them. I understand that rats, when cornered will do anything to try and escape, to the extent of gnawing off the limbs of fellow rats.

We're not done with them yet and they will try to spin and lie their way out of the mess.

Also, I've now read several different articles about international tribunals and Nuremberg type trials. I think their best days are ahead of them.

5. Well, if they go to War Crimes trials, that will be a great day.

There are a few other Quislings to get on that docket as well.

One principal of management control I've seen in the somewhat distant past is this. You hire someone comopetent and capable based on a pool of failed individuals, those with a certain flaw that causes them great shame and hardship. They're so greateful for the job, they do great work, never challenge authority, etc. Then if they do get out of line or they just need to go, the past acts are resurected and shoved in their face. I think that * co is filled with people like this. Certainly Congress is. These folks are a bit risky too, though. They're scandal magnets.

So we've got a WH populated by flawed individuals who actually can't do their job. What happened? I guess these guys didn't read "I Learned Everything I Know about Management from Machiavelli"

6. Therein lies our great hope
This bunch couldn't change a flat tire they've fucked up time and again, they needed help stealing the first time around, only by a very thin hair they got themselves installed. Now, all the incompetence is coming home to roost, I truly believe there are great days coming. In spite of all the doom and gloomers on this board lately we'll see who has the last laugh.

7. They Couldn't Change A Light Bulb On A Table Lamp
Nothing lasts forever, their days are numbered. However once they're gone, it's up to us to deprive them of an encore performance.
