The Myth That It Will Be Our Children and Grandchildren Who Have To Pay Off GWB's Debt |
|
It is true that our children and grandchildren will be paying against the nearly unimaginable debt that George W. Bush has racked up, but don't think for a moment that the debt service is going to wait for them to grow up and start earning. You and I will be the first to pay on that debt. No one is going to send you a bill for it, its going to come out of your tax dollar. The time is soon coming when taxes will have to go up as services provided for the tax dollar decrease - there being little to no money left after debt service to accomplish the things we expect to be accomplished with our annual due. If you want a sound public education system, or safe roads and bridges, or even such basic services as police and fire protection you are likely to be very disappointed and anyone who honestly thinks we will see a single-payer health care system in this country is seriously deluded.
There is only one way to avoid the breakdown of our civil systems in this country and that is to oust George W. Bush before he spends this country out of existence.
Impeach now.

3. You are totally WRONG! |
|
Everybody knows that the tax cuts will pay off all that debt, cuz Bush said so! We just need more tax cuts to make it work. Then there's all that oil money coming in from Iraq that will help speed up the pay-off! We just need to keep troops there for another fifty years to make it happen!
Heeeeey, no worries mate! Spend, Spend, spennnnndddddd!
disclaimer: We, in no way, or by express consent, agree or disagree with the above statement. In case of default, you're screwed.

4. Single payer healthcare would actually save us money, not cost |
|
more. Moving to a single payer system could help alleviate the monstrous debt that * has saddled us with. It might look like more at first glance, but figure how much insurance costs, how much your employer pays in, how much you pay in deductible and co-pays and how much you shell out out-of-pocket, and add to that the spiralling costs of the for-profit healthcare industry where everyone on the ladder has to get his cut of the profits, single payer can save us billions.

6. Guess Who Will Get Blamed????? |

THE BIG BAD NASTY DEMOCRATS WHO RAISED TAXES!!!
Everything was going just fine, until a Democrat was elected President, and the first thing he/she did was RAISE TAXES!!
They'll continue the SPIN, No Matter What! Of course, they won't bother to mention that taxes are being raised, so that the MASSIVE TRILLION DOLLARS DEBT does not continue growing uncontrollably. They WON'T mention that we're in this FUCKED UP MESS, because of low taxes for the UPPER 1%, and if the system had been more fair these past 8 years, the situation wouldn't be quite as grim, or demand as much of a tax adjustment.
