Patraeus and Blood on The Streets of Iraq
listening to him I would never have known what a BLOODY day today was yet again in Iraq....

A protester holds up a sign before being escorted out by Capitol Hill Police during testimony from the US Commander in Iraq General David Petraeus before a joint hearing of the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs committees on the state of the war on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. What was billed as the most electrifying day of testimony in Congress for many years lurched into farce Monday as Petraeus struggled to be heard and members of the anti-war group Code Pink were dragged kicking from the room.(AFP/Tim Sloan)

A pool of blood covers the street after a car bomb attack in western Baghdad. Iraq's embattled Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has given an upbeat assessment of the situation in his country. He said that civil war has been averted in his country and that violence is down 75 percent, as the US military confirmed it is building a base on the Iranian border.(AFP/Ahmad Al-Rubaye)

Mourners carry a coffin containing a mother who was killed with her two daughters during a pre-dawn raid on the home of a suspected militia leader by U.S. and Iraqi troops in the Shiite enclave of Sadr City, Baghdad, Iraq, Monday, Sept. 10, 2007. Police and residents said the mother and her two daughters were killed and two others wounded when the joint forces backed by helicopters stormed four homes. 2. good
what I found remarkable is so many reps let him talk over them and go on and on with meaningless talking points. It is too bad no one can sit those repubs down and makes them look at dead bodies in Iraq on Yahoo.
