BAGHDAD - Insurgents fired rockets or mortars at a US military base near Baghdad’s international airport, killing one person and wounding 11 American soldiers, the military said.

The person killed in the attack on Camp Victory on Tuesday, the military said in a statement, was a “third-country national,” someone who is not an American or an Iraqi.
