must take off our shoes to pass inspection. I think Brazil tops us though. There, among the things you can't take aboard such as explosives and fire arms, you can't have frozen fish in your carry-on. Frozen fish? I'm sure there's a story there and I'd like to know what it is but I was afraid to ask anyone lest I offend someone.

I know "agricultural" isn't the right word for fish, but raw food products can carry plant and animal diseases and insects from one region to the next. Some countries and even states are pretty strict about it.
