Chaser's APEC motorcade: Highest ratings ever for Aussie comedy

An Australian political satire program has garnered the highest ratings ever for a comedy program on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) after the show's members pulled an APEC motorcade stunt.

The Chaser's War on Everything attracted more than 2.3 million viewers in its weekly slot on Wednesday night, making it the highest-rated program in the country on all networks.

It also marks the highest audience achieved by a TV comedy on ABC since the network started gathering audience data in 1991.
