John Howard should be condemned

by the US Congress. His comments re Obama and the Democratic party are fugging out of order. Ron Wyden's response was useful but the Dems need to condemn this on the record.

On CNN they were just saying that Obama had responded??? I couldn't hear it very well because my husband stuck his head in the room and asked me a question while the story was on.

5. Obama told him to send 20,000 Australian

troops if he was serious. He is the Australian Prime Minister who attacked both Obama and the Democratic Party.

Mr Howard started the fight when he criticised Mr Obama's plan to withdraw US combat troops by March 2008.

"If America pulls out of Iraq in March 2008 it can only be in circumstances of defeat," Mr Howard told Nine Network on Sunday.

"If I were running al-Qaeda in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and be praying as many times as possible for a victory not only for Obama but also for the Democrats."
