?

Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich, a 2008 Democratic presidential hopeful, is shown on a chair spinning in a circle, saying he was doing something no other candidate can, during a campaign stop, Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, in Keene, N.H. 'Do you know why I can do it,' Kucinich asked. 'No strings. Imagine a president with no strings attached?' (AP Photo/Cheryl Senter)

I guess I'm just a Kucinich person, just like 2004. MSM still trying to marginalize him, though.

There just might be enough of a grass roots base behind him. I'm telling everyone I know.

2. Gotta give Dennis this
I don't think he has a hope in hell of winning but he has shown a real talent for the meaningful quip.

28. Or maybe he's doing a riff on the public perception of who he is?
When someone starts calling you names you can either try to deny that you are what you've been called or you can embrace it and exaggerate it. (example, some women's response to "geez, you're a bitch" is "yeah, cool ain't it")

Maybe DK's decided if they're going to label him, he's going to take the label and run with it.

22. The Obama-Hatch Tithing Bill for example.

I don't think Kucinich would ever write such a bill. I'm sure the Mega-Churches were just so happy about this.

23. You are kidding, right?
I ask you how Obama panders to Christian and your BEST response is that he co-sponsored a bill that allows people in bankruptcy to deduct money from their payment plans if that money is going to non-profit institutions?! You do realize that this bill covers churches, mosques, synagogues, local theatre companies, art groups, walks for breast cancer, etc. It's not just christian churches. I'm not sure why you think Kucinich doesn't want people to be able to budget money for their local community groups. Perhaps I have the wrong idea about DK.

24. It's the MEGA CHURCH PANDER ACT.
Why do you think it's call tithing bill?

"Congress has a long history of protecting our religious freedom to tithe," Hatch said in a statement. "That was our intent when we enacted bankruptcy reform last year, and this bill clarifies the law so that those who tithe can continue to live their faith while in bankruptcy."

You and Hatch see eye to eye I see.

If people are so broke the have to declare bankruptcy the churches shouldn't be taking it from them.

Their CREDITOR should be paid 1st!

18. No strings attached. He is not owned by anyone or anything,
so he owes no favors.

I hope by some miracle he becomes President. IMO, he is the only candidate that understands what really needs to be done, and is in a position to do what needs to be done.

30. Hey "nadia"
I believe its against DU rules to come back after being banned

"Democratic Underground and other forums
Submitted by nadia on Sat, 02/10/2007 - 19:26.
If there are any volunteers out there that are looking for something to do...how about going around to other web forums and spreading the word about Dennis and the issues he supports. I have been on and off Democratic Underground for the last several years promoting Kucinich, but I eventually get kicked off when Skinner figures out it is me. My last run was 400 posts as "Lucky Duck" which was pretty good. I must have gotten 15 or so popular posts on the greatest page about Dennis, and the more people figure out what he is all about, the stronger his support grows. Skinner, the forum administrator, doesn't approve of Kucinich because he doesn't promote the DLC line of thinking. Daily Kos and others are the same way."

Also if you weren't such a pain in the ass at the Kucinich site calling people moles perhaps you wouldn't have been banned from there as well for an inability to work with others.
