1. Yeah - a client of ours has an invoice from the EU
That's gone up $130 in exchange rates in the last month (he has't paid it yet)! That's quite a jump.

5. and Saudis,Venezuala considering stopping their trade in dollars..who next?
http://www.venezuelanalysis.com/news/1752
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez declared on Tuesday that Venezuela would consider putting the sale of its oil in Euros. His comments come after Iran had announced that it too is contemplating switching to the European currency.
http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/dollar-falls-sharply-amid-reports/story.aspx?guid=%7B5FA1CA78-D591-4DC2-BFA1-E260625858FB%7D
The dollar fell sharply across the board Thursday, hitting a new all-time low against the euro and parity with its Canadian counterpart, as lower U.S. interest rates and a report that Saudi Arabia might be signaling the end of its currency's dollar peg put the greenback under heavy pressure.

9. Do you really think so?
I was thinking of China and Asia. Their markets were still dropping when ours was going up. But I haven't checked it today. I heard China would dump dollars but very quietly, without saying so.

11. I'm going to start hammering U.S. coins into ash trays and other trinkets...
... to sell to European tourists.

And it never hurts to teach your cute kids how to trade paper flowers and chicklets for Euros.

Looks like the U.S. dollar is about to become a more typical American currency, doesn't it? A Peso with nukes...

It was a long ride for our imposter currency, but now it seems we are pulling into the station. Back to reality.

Our first export always was bullshit, but now the world's not buying it.

Jeezus, when I was in Canada back in '00, as I remember, an American buck was damn near $1.50 Canadian. That little bit of info sure tells a story now doesn't it?

I was in Toronto over Labor Day weekend, and I could feel the pain of the US dollar's new reality. It's a lot different than four years ago.

a solution or a plan to turn the trend around?

This is alarming.
