Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., a member of the intelligence panel, told CNN's "Late Edition" that not only were Feith's actions "inappropriate," but that "there are serious questions about whether Mr. Feith broke the 1947 statute that requires that our committee be informed" of his office's activities.

1. Feith: Is there a subpoena in your pocket

2. A toothless statute, I would imagine.
Cn Congress actually do anything to an Exec Branch miscreant who doesn't play by the rules?

4. Feith twisted the CIA's intel into what he conceived as poilcy... Feith should be
answering some serious Libby type questions, what he knew, real or imagined??

5. Problem is he's no longer a puglic servant. No chance of a indictment
at this point. :grr:
(puglic wasn't a typo)

7. Playing it over the edge.
Come on, we all know the type. Don't you remember the 90s when people were fasttracked every time they made their numbers, even though everyone knew they were playing it over the edge. Just a euphemism for cheating?

It really doesn't take much effort to be without integrity or ethics. It's just our shame that we rewarded it so well. Of course Feith went over the edge. He was well rewarded for it too.

Now it's time to pay the piper, because our country can't tolerate that kind of behavior anymore.

8. How come Feith isn't being arrested? Seriously! How can what he did be legal and be allowed to not
only happen, but to get away with it???

I seriously hope that there is something the Senator from Oregon and the rest of our elected representatives can do to get not only to the bottom of how this happened (and who orchestrated it - hint - Cheney & Bush) but also to punish and stop this from ever happening again.
