Short version - When Durbin asked Cornyn to include (Texan funded) Swift Boat liars in his resolution, Cornyn replied:

“I am not willing to amend my resolution … He keeps emphasizing that this is a Texas based group… I have no idea whether it is or it is not …”

But see, that's a lie. Cornyn knows swiftie financier, Bob Perry, very well. So well, he took money from him just this last March:

Republicans are going to get a wake up call in Texas this year come election time. One switched parties today, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more lose their seats to democrats come election time. We still have a lot of hard-core republicans, no doubt, but the "middle-of-the-roaders" are bad-mouthing republicans these days. We're headed purple!

6. I sent one yesterday

I had to fake an address in Texas, because I learned my lesson. I sent one before and it wouldn't go thru because I was not a resident of Texas. And I have an alternate email address in yahoo, that I use so I can't get spam from these sites. Because I used to put my real email and the spam was horrific .
