Actually I want to take a trip to northern CA and the Pacific NW. Never been there. I am trying to talk the hubby into a driving vacation this summer.

50. Yosemite is God's catcher's mitt. You MUST see it.

There's whatever kind of lodging that you want/need -- the access is terrific. Fancy hotel to tent camping. I wasn't a camper until my family dragged me there and then, I went back every year until my kids lit out.

You can't turn around without seeing something beautiful and they have great materials for teachers. You can have any kind of visit you want but I don't know, the place itself is amazing. It's affordable once you're there unlike a lot of places.
