Does any one know what states have the most women?

I have been trying to find out which states have the most women, with no luck.

I did find these maps, which are interesting:

7. Here's a tidbit cultivated from my personal experience

San Francisco seems to have an abundance of single, hetero, women. Heterosexual men have the proverbial "2 girls for every boy", coined by The Beach Boys. San Francisco women are hotter than average, because they dress well, stay in fighting shape by having to walk up those hills, walk everywhere, and, eat the healthy California diet.

Right now I live in a suburb of Tacoma. Tacoma seems to have an abundance of lonely, single, hetero, men. I would guess that's because it is an industrial-heavy economy.

Other places with shortages of single women, from what I've heard: Alaska and Wyoming.

According to the 2000 Census:

Total Women Aged 16 or older:
California = 12,998,409.
Texas = 7,960,900.
New York = 7,810,436.

Your maps show percentages.

Number of Women Aged 16 or Older, as a % of Total Population:
WV = 41.869%
RI = 41.835%
PA = 41.480%
FL = 41.390%
ME = 41.233%

FWIW,
CA = 38.370%
TX = 38.178%
NY = 41.159%

My guess, without running an official correlation, would be to say that where ever you find an older aged population, you'll find a higher % of women, as women tend to live longer.

As for who has the most women, that's your problem, lol, if you need to go to a state with more women than men to get a woman, you've as much as admitted you are not attractive to women, lol!

I'd guess California. Women seem to be pretty evenly-distributed, so the state with the largest population would have greatest number of women.
