I needed some good vibes today; been pretty "down" lately regarding my job search. I know compared to a lot of people, I'm blessed. I have a good support system (family and friends) and my health (poy! poy! I don't want to give myself "the evil eye" here; I'm a superstitious Jew, what can I say?!). I left a job I'd been at for seven years for one that I thought was going to be a growth opportunity (in terms of career path and money); needless to say, without any warning whatsoever, I was terminated without being given a reason why except "you're not a good fit" (gotta love living in an "at will" state) after only four months. I've had a couple of interviews, but nothing has come through yet.
