8. Yes, he should be acknowledged for his academic competence at the very least
His test score ranked him 132nd among over 400,000 participants that year,<19> landing him at the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) as an undergraduate student of civil engineering.

12. the source for that is, ummm, his blog
i should make a blog and say that i scored 1600 on my SAT before they let you use calculators. then everyone will know i'm smart.

"Describing himself as a "distinguished student", the president tells how he excelled at school, coming 132nd out of more than 400,000 students to take a university entrance test - despite suffering from a nose bleed at the time."

18. I answered the poll question truthfully
the question was do you have ANY respect what so ever. I do respect education and engineering.

I don't think less of vegetarianism because of Hitler.

15. I'm not sure if "respect" is the proper term.
He holds some truly contemptible and bizarre beliefs, but he had the stones to show up in a venue where he had to know that he was going to take heat. Contrast that with our own jug-eared little prick whose appearances run the gamut from fat cat donors to troops from whom the UCMJ demands a cordial audience.

Edited on Tue Sep-25-07 11:40 AM by donsu

he is religiously insane with all that entails.

(being an educated man he might not be as religiously insane as projected. he might be very afraid of the religiously insane men that run religion and govt. in Iran.)

and he thinks women are beneath him.

and of course, being religiously insane, allows murders without qualm.

19. He just is what he is.. an elected official of a country
His electoral system may not be totally above board..but then maybe ours is not all that great either..

Because our leaders do not "like" his country, he's worthy of derision, and criticism..

When we 'loved' the shah, the shah's own people mostly hated him.. go figure

Edited on Tue Sep-25-07 01:10 PM by KamaAina
both are godstruck would-be theocrats who are absolutely convinced of their own righteousness to the detriment of all other life on Earth. :scared: In a way, it's amazing the two of them don't get along better.

Freudian typo: 'own' not 'won'!! :dunce:

Whether the bogeyman is "Satanic America", or, "Zionism", or "The Empire of Evil", or "Terrorist States", or "FemiNazis", or Ahmadinejad.
