I have seen some posts on the board regarding people who have hearts and those who do not...

What they forget is the generosity of others who have given out the hearts to strangers is so great here, that I think we will be able to give everyone a heart...

Let that be our goal....

It's wonderful idea for everyone to get a heart. Last year though it looked like more of a popularity contest though. There were many without hearts, and some hurt feelings.

I actually don't mind not having a heart. I tend to read here a lot, and voice my opinion, but I'm all over the place in many different topics and haven't particularly cultivated any close friendships, so I didn't expect to get a heart. And, surprisingly, I'm not upset about it. I suppose, though, some people may feel really left out.

I have been here for years. Yet i am often in and out for months at a time. Most times by the time i get back a lot has changed. I did not expect one myself actually having just returned from a 3 month sabbatical.

I have to say i am pleased that it appears many folks are giving stars out willy nilly. Nice to see such generosity. I bet you'll get one soon. People without heart have been targeted all day.
