I'm in the same boat... my rep is Tancredo. GAK!

BUT... there are surprises, and we need to keep pushing.

Last year at budget time, I was asking people around her to please write and call Tancredo. One of my friends got a letter back from him, saying that he was against cuts to Medicaid. We were both surprised at that.

Of course, he ended up voting FOR the damned budget :mad:, but... IF all those who thought it was hopeless to contact Tancredo had called and written, it might have swayed him, because he was already saying he didn't agree with cutting Medicaid!

So, you never know, and they work FOR US, so we need to let 'em know. I know it's discouraging, but... with enough of us hounding them, maybe we can have an effect. We never know until we try, and things have changed in the House, so this is the time to go for the ridiculous! :hi:

Thanks again for your efforts! I want you to know that I felt so alone when I was homeless, and your willingness to call feels like a personal support to me, too.
