Any recourse against predatory mortgage lenders?
---

A friend just found out her loan is not fixed after all.
She got stuck with a ballooning payment scheme for her home.

I understand "buyer beware" and the "fine print".
I have already lectured her about this.
Apparently it was well hidden in the fine print.

Is there a place she can go for recourse?
links?

She does feel she was "tricked" into this by assurances from the original mortgage lender agent.

thanks

---

3. Visit the National Association of Consumer Advocates to find a lawyer near you...

The National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) is a nationwide membership organization of more than 1000 attorneys who represent and have represented hundreds of thousands of consumers victimized by fraudulent, abusive and predatory business practices. NACA attorneys are committed to advancing the cause of just treatment for and ethical representation of consumers and will not, so long as they are a NACA member, perform services for any business or commercial client on a matter where that client's interests are adverse to the interests of a consumer or consumers.
