There's a very real possibility that Covington might be joining civilization :-) , what with the Chevron HQ coming in and all. What better time for the place to cast aside the old stereotypes of being a right-wing backwater than now? (seriously, Annie is really fighting the good fight for us down there)

First order of business: Make them melt down the enormous brass statue of America's second-worst pResident and cast the brass into plumbing fixtures and musical instruments to be donated to those in the region who are still rebuilding.

Next, how about some bus service across the Causeway? (maybe funded by tolls, like Golden Gate Transit in the Bay Area) If the parish keeps on growing the way it is, you'll soon be looking at the world's longest two-lane traffic jam otherwise.
