Generous, loving, kind. I guess that's why this heart campaign seems to be the most effective fundraising technique ever on DU. No Grovelbot, no guilt-tripping, just people contributing money to a good cause so they can have the pleasure of spreading little pieces of happiness into each other's lives.

31. Grovelbot is one of DU's fundraising images:

He's a regular fund-raising MACHINE, that one!

heart-athon?

I think he'd look adorable.

14. I know it's true that 'he' is the only democratic machine in the U.S.
which is why I'm still flying my upside-down distress flag avatar.

I also know it's true that grovelbot has his own particular brand of charm.

:D

16. well, I am hoping that there will be justice for all
I have not heard anything earth shattering coming out of Ohio lately, hoping it doesn't end
up as a mega-coverup on the vote rigging of 2004.

:-(

18. I've heard some things which to me are *earth shattering*
coming from Ohio. The problem is, the corporate media isn't bothering to report them with any of the urgency that one would think election fraud deserves.

So, I'm afraid you are correct; we may see it fade into the background as something future historians will stare at in amazement that the populace sat idly by and watched their nation taken from their hands - in plain sight.

And we wonder how the Germans could have let hitler happen. *sigh*

I just don't want the last 6 years and the next 2 to be a free-for-all for these thugs,
there's has to be accountability, they can't get away with what they have done. If they
do, we will have a million dirty tricksters, spinners, swiftboaters, corporate thugs,
thieves, liars who are all in charge of our government.

I'll go fire up the ol' International 706 tractor with the front end loader & have that stuff spread in a jif.

Here's one a lot like mine except the one in the pic doesn't have a loader.

29. Very simple. H20man just starts an Irish thread. And then everyone
posts their favorite Irish songs, poems, writings, heros, prayers, etc.
Lots of stories from those of us of Irish descent about our childhood
memories growing up.

I cried the whole day last year on St Paddy's, darn that H2Oman. :)
(and I didn't even drink a drop of green beer!)
