Lou Dobbs is lying about the Plame case.
He even put on a special I-don't-believe-this face, just for the occasion.

He's walking the Bush line, asking: Well, if it all started with Armitage, and it was just a slip, what's this trial all about? Why make such a big deal about nothing?

Well, Lou. It didn't start with Armitage. That's just want they want little Nazi sheep to believe so they can bleat it over and over again on the teevee.

You see, Lou, the Armitage crap has absolutely nothing to do with Irving Libby. It's an end-around, intended to make it look like everybody just happened to start talking about an NOC CIA operative at the same time.

But you'd have to be a fucking moron to believe such a thing, wouldn't you Lou?

3. He's purposefully clueless about the things he doesn't want
to think about.

If Lou were really a populist he'd be banging his head against the wall and yelling about a country being taken to war based on lies, one of which lie was outted by Joseph Wilson, who was promptly targeted by the Bush cabal, destroying a valuable WMD asset in the process.

Lou is such an ass.

4. If it's all about Armitage, who did Libby lie to protect then!?
And who does he continue to lie for to this day, which is why he's in court?

5. We can always count on Lou to muddy the waters...
He knows what these people have done. He doesn't seem to give a rat's ass. It's not about the border or trading with China sooooooooo... screw it. :eyes:

He's a shill. Lou "Waterboy" Dobbs.

6. Me too- the Armitage factor means little or nothing to a thinking person.
So a man who works for proven liars leaked the name, or claimed to be the first to leak it.

How in the WORLD does this take a way from the thesis that this was pay-back and political propaganda to help make the case for WMDs? How does this prove that Libby himself never lied? How is it a reason or excuse for lying?

Why is no one in the media asking the 100% legit question: "How do we know Armitage himself was not ordered to lie about this? Afterall, this admin has done nothing but lie about this-how is this different?.."

A more factual headline when this came out would have been "Armitage admission shows that Bush admin behind leaked Plame identity" instead of "Nothing to see here- Bush admin official admits to disclosing identity..."

7. Because libby lied and tried to obstruct an FBI investigation...
allegedly. /snark It's not about the 'leak'. It's about lying about the 'leak' and obstruction of justice.

9. Oh, I missed that.
But it would have been satisfying because I saw the crap Lou pulled on that one. It's like he was plagiarizing from Fox News.

16. lol, funny that you should mention fox
...because KO slammed Dobbs in a similar manner that he does fox; KO gave the facts, then played Dobbs own words to show he has no credibility. :)

17. Lulu lying???
Say it ain't so zola!!! However...

"Regular viewers of “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” on CNN, might be surprised at the venue that Dobbs chose for lunch not long ago: the Grill Room of the Four Seasons, a midtown bastion of the very same political and business “élites” that he denounces daily on his television program. The Four Seasons is the enduring commissary of the Old Guard, where Henry Kissinger waves to the former Citigroup C.E.O. Sandy Weill, there is limo-lock at the side door, and the regulars have their checks sent to the office. Dobbs’s Town Car left him at the door, on East Fifty-second Street, and the restaurant’s co-owner, Julian Nicolini, embraced him that day as warmly as when he welcomed, among others, Stephen Schwarzman, the chairman and C.E.O. of the Blackstone Group; Nelson Peltz, the C.E.O. of Trian Partners; Edgar Bronfman, Sr., the former chairman and C.E.O. of Seagram; and Mortimer Zuckerman, the real-estate developer and publisher of the News. Nicolini led Dobbs to one of five choice banquettes, and Dobbs settled in, looking very much at home."

10. when Miller was in jail i swear to god Dobbs had an eternal flame lit for her
Dobbs is no man of the people at all, no saviour of the middle class, he figured out how to get ratings on the backs of middle and low wage workers and on the backs of immigrants.

They seem to be the source of everything bad in Lou Dobb's world.

14. I saw that. It was the Lou Dobbs I can't stand. He knows well that Libby is accused of Perjury
Pretends that he can't understand why this trial is even going on? There's no outing of a CIA agent charge. Funny how they conveniently forget the impeachment hearings of President Bill Clinton and that it was about lying and not about the crime. Fuck Lou Dobbs.
