Why does Bill O'Reilly get away with his comments when others don't? |
Is it because he never apologizes? What is it?

1. He's a classic bully.... |
It takes a lot to take down a bully-- who only get more malicious in adulthood. They typically have to self-destruct and that takes time (although there are signs)...

2. personality vs character |
I've heard many liberals say he is pleasant in person, which they confuse with character. Consequently, when he says these outrageous things, they hesitate to pile on and take him out.

3. The whole damn Fox News gets away with insane comments |
Today (and I know this because my elderly mother watches FN all afternoon) it was on and on about celebrities. Crazy Coulter was on saying liberals were all loons. They love to attack San Francisco. All this dreck in what is supposed to be objective news programming. It's amazing they get away with posing as news programming.
