Did I miss the explanation?

I am talking about an explanation by Democrats on Capitol Hill, explaining why they have beencome a gaggle of wusses.

I recall that when the duct of the 2006 election had settled, we were all set to see the Dems go charging head first into the swarms of rethugs and do them in but it never happened. On far too many issues, the Dems have given in to the shrub forces.

WHY?

Now, I know all about the margin of majority they hold in both the House and Senate and that its almost impossible now to overturn a veto, but, Jeez guys, there are other things that can be done, even sneaky things.....but nobody is doing any of it...at least not that I can see.

WHY NOT?

Are we too delicate to fight hard? Are we so freaking ethical we wont pull a dirty trick now and then? They do it all the time.

I want Pelosi and Reid and any other top Democrat to hold a news conference to explain why they have forgotten their pledges to set things back on the straight and narrow NOW!

IS THAT POSSIBLE. or did I miss it?
