...and loaded for Boojum.
Sorry if it offends, but some of us are scratching our heads, going :wtf:
We want a candidate who actually stands for things rather than standing behind things.
We want a candidate who says what s/he means...not things that are as open to interpretation as the Book of Revelations.
We want a candidate whose family doesn't seem joined at the hip with the family of the diminutive dictator sitting it the oval office at this very moment (he's not on vacation, is he?)
Okay...I know I said I surrendered. I lied. Or changed my mind. Take your pick. If you don't like the fact that I've gone back to Boojum hunting, you probably think I lied. If you DO like the fact I've gone back to Boojum hunting, you can say I changed my mind.
I'm flexible.
See...sometimes it's important to avoid even the appearance of impropriety. That means not taking contributions and assistance from such notable RW FUCKWADS as Rupert Murdoch and Rev. Moon. It means not playing footsie with the First Fascist Family and their prodigal parental units.
It means not consorting with the enemy.
Call me a purist, but I don't like the Bushites. I don't like George Herbert Walker "Read My Lips" Bush. I don't like Barbara "Beautiful Mind" Bush. And I sure as hell don't like George Walker "The Decider" Bush.
And I'm not too happy about anyone who seems to think they're A-OK.
I'm real uncomfortable with the saber rattling at Iran right now. I'm not as worried about their nuclear program as I'm supposed to be.
Why's that?
Well, first, there's the Fatwa issued by Ali Khomenei regarding nuclear weapons.
Second, they'd have to be crazy to USE a nuke, since if one happened to go off in Israel or (Gawd forbid) America, they'd be number one on the suspect list. There are serious advantages for them to pursue nuclear power. There are serious disadvantages for them to pursue anything else.
Like Senator Byrd himself said, we're being sleepwalked into a war with Iran. Another unnecessary war. And a war we cannot afford.
It's as simple as that.

A Republican victory would be MUCH worse.
But we can also do MUCH better.
And it's Seppiku.

4. She won't win if I have anything to do about it. |
|
Her victory means my cousin (he's being re-deployed again in a couple of days) and friends have to stay in Iraq until at least 2013.

6. Exactly what difference do you think there would be if Rudy were elected? |
|
Other than Hillary has a much more charming spouse? I am serious.I am not voting for Rudi but just what are the practical differences between them?

10. If she gets into office and continues Bush's policies, proving there really IS no difference... |
|
that could be worse than another puke getting in there and cementing the growing opinion against their party.
I know the situation is desperate now, but we still need to think beyond the next election. Hopefully, America will still be here for a long time after that.

11. "Consorting with the enemy"? |
|
I don't much care for HRC, but I don't consider her "my enemy". And I don't think she'll be an extension of bush, if she is elected.
