13. Hey, crikkett! Isn't that ..imaginepeace.net? |
|
The link doesn't work for .com so I googled it and imaginepeace came up .net. I read earlier that Yoko was going to dedicate a Peace Symbol in Reykjavik, Iceland, today. http://www.icelandtouristboard.com/news.php Imagine all the people living life in peace"– John Lennon "A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality" - Yoko Ono

The website for the peace tower is apparently getting slammed by visitors and is loading very slowly. So, I snagged an image of the tower and uploaded it to one of my sites: It will shine from today until December 8, 2007. I hope all of you will try to visit the site. It features video, downloads as well as a link to send a peace message of your own: http://imaginepeace.com

I'm a tich behind. "Still Life with Woodpecker" was where I first heard of it. I'm a decade behind the flower children. While they were protesting the war and making with the free love, I was going to grade school. :)

Still Life with Woodpecker!
I remember reading it and liking it a lot. But for the life of me, I can hardly remember the story. Wasn't there a prince or a recluse or something?
Will have to put that on my winter re-reading list.

34. Well, it's been well over 20 years since I read it |
|
But I recall it was about a guy and a redheaded woman and making love "stay". I may have to re-read it again myself. :)
