Three segments this morning about General Sanchez. They're taking care to emphasize that he was in charge of Abu Ghraib's prisoners when the abuse there was exposed.

1. Col. Jack Jacobs on MSNBC just said he should have said something |
|
while on duty and maybe he could have 'effected change'. IMO, he would have been riding the boot-in-ass express, like so many of his peers did.

They just keep making it harder for Georgie to ever attempt a military coup. Although, if he did, the current slate of Republicans would probably gather for a reenactment of Julius Caesar.

4. Sanchez is no hero--he WAS accountable for what occurred in Iraq |
|
under his watch. But his current statements are verrrrry enlightening.

5. That's the problem ... |
|
Now that he's saying something verrrrry interesting, the media is all too pleased to emphasize his past failures over his current actions.

6. The Freep-types are already making him out to be a Clinton-promoted |

political hack who is bitter because Petraeus is supposedly doing a better job. They'll pull out all the stops to discredit him, I'm sure.
