Oh, yeah? Well, "When MARS ATTACKS, Giuliani's ready"
How's YOUR candidate on the issue of alien invasion, huh, huh???!!1?

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani often stresses his ability to protect America from terrorist threats, but what about from enemies beyond this planet?

Campaigning in Exeter, New Hampshire Sunday, the New York Republican was asked by a young questioner what he would do if aliens attacked the United States, according to the Associated Press.

"Of all the things that can happen in this world, we'll be prepared for that. Yes we will," Giuliani said, noting that he had never fielded a question about potential attacks from outer space before.

"We'll be prepared for anything that happens," he added.

1. "We'll be prepared for anything that happens"
Yeah, like we were "prepared" for 9/11 and Katrina? Hell those were things that had happened before (not in that magnitude, but terrorist attacks and hurricanes are nothing new).

2. Yabbut, NOBODY could've predicted 9/11.
Well, unless one was paying attention to the briefs.

3. An alien invasion of the planet would probably mean a mercifully quick death for the human race.
As opposed to slowly polluting and poisoning ourselves to death, except in the case where humanity nukes itself off the face of earth in a nuclear holocaust.

According to the stories left from the olden civilizations, the "Aliens" have been here many times
and have left us all the makings of advancements needed to emerge from a primitive state.

And the thousand ton, perfectly machined blocks of granite that are the base platform for the
'Dome of the Rock/Gaia's Navel', center of contention of the three major 'god' religions.

Some amazing technology was used to erect that first pyramid perfectly tuned at earth's F# resonant frequency.

No known explanation for the hundreds of tons blocks the Mayan civilization used in their temples.

How could any earthbound one of us delineate the globe and place monolithic structures honoring 'the gods/goddesses', in antiquity, right on what we call the 30th parallel, without something more than we know about?

Well, all but the secret of capturing the abundant energy that flows
in waves past this earth globe 24/7.

13. Consider the cases in our own history...
...when a more technologically advanced society has encountered a less advanced one here on Earth. It typically doesn't end well for the less advanced one.

I doubt that Warp Drives or whatever they might use automatically confer a superior sense of inter-species ethics. I'm with Stephen Hawking on this one.

But Rudi? He's still an idiot.

I knew The Ghoul was bat-shit crazy, but this surprised even me.

I sure hope he's our opposition in the general. I'd love to see this video clip played over and over and over again.
