Hillary was on The View today.
I thought she did a great job and came across as very likeable.

1. Did she talk about Iraq, healthcare, the Supreme Court? Likeable is nice

but addressing specific issues is important

7. SC not mentioned. Iraq -
she talked about getting out and the need to get out carefully. Health care was mentioned.

BW said she would ask her about Iran after the break but they ran out of time. It was suggested that she will need to return to answer more questions. HRC said she would be glad to return.

HRC had the perfect tone - she was funny, charming and real. She knew she was at a hen party.

One of the things that I like that she always does is address the person asking a question by name and she always turns and looks into their eyes. In other words - "Well Elizabeth ... Sherri thanks for the question ... Whoppi, its nice to see you again my friend..." She was having a conversation - not launching a talking point.

2. Did the Elizabitch the Ignorant not show up today?
No fan of The View, but I would love to have seen her reaction.

6. She was there, but Babawawa had her on a very short rope.
She only got to ask one snarky question about "security" and the other Jeebus believer (the one that thinks the world might actually BE flat) asked the Hill about torture.

Hill did OK with both of them.

8. EH asked one question - she was not confrontational.
EH did not try to take off on her like she did Pelosi. HRC spoke about using former Presidents and advisers from both parties to spread around the world in an effort to let countries know that the days of "cowboy diplomacy were over". Joy cracked that cowboy diplomacy is an oxymoron.

Frankly, I think the blond bully knew HRC could easily take her apart.

One think I learned today about EH - she spoke at the Republican National Convention.

3. So did Bush, way back then
to some people, anyway.

I don't want likable; I want competent, committed progressive.

Does Hillary offer me that?

10. I have to agree, Likeable is secondary to being competent and committed
to ensure change occurs. I wish I had seen the interview though.

4. Likeable? Of course. Liberal? No.
I will never understand why people vote for one who is likeable or "electable" or warm and fuzzy even though their policies are conservative and in the best interests of corporations.

5. "I will never understand..."
Me either, but the fact is many, if not most, people vote for the more likeable candidate, often against their own best interests.
