Bill Kristol: "And there are all kinds of other good things happening in Iraq" |
|
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,302458,00.html<snip> RISTOL: And there are all kinds of other good things happening in Iraq about casualty levels down, civilian casualties' down. The question — I saw the Democrats are still quoting General Sanchez, saying that this is an unending nightmare. He said that yesterday, which was badly timed, and the Democrats should not be repeating it.

1. He's right. In fact, I'm trying to decide whether to go to the Farmers' Mkt. in Indiana |
|
on Sunday or the one in Baghdad...mmm, right now it's a toss-up. Hard decisions are hard work, I tell ya.

Why don't you move into the green zone as a gesture of faith in our progress?

shouldn't quote Sanchez who was there a lot more than Kristol and the other Iraq War apologists. We should just shut up and let him do the talking. Right.
I'm always glad when less people die but I wouldn't be so quick to label that as "all kinds of good things happening." Sounds like an ad for a Christmas sale at Macy's.

13. I noticed that, as well |
|
Meanwhile, Smilin' Bill keeps talking about how wonderful things are in this area or that area, while glossing over how fucked things are in general, and apparently completely ignoring Chimpy's pronouncement today that there is no military solution in Iraq.
So what in the wide, wide world of sports are we doing with all those troops in country?

10. You know, my wife and I were thinking of where to go on our |
|
next vacation. I think Bill has got me sold!
I mean where else can I combine exercise and seeing the world in one vacation?
sprinting between shoot outs, car bombs and suicide bombings will certainly get me and my wife into that hard body shape in no time!
And heck just the food alone should be attracting me. Where else can I get a $70 plate of worm eaten spaghetti that is cooked with fouled water?
And for those casual evenings out, who can beat the night life? What did you say? Curfew? Curfew smerfew, I say! the night life in the Green Zone is second to none! I can see us now bogeying down in the sandbagged dance club, "heat stroke", in our designer flak jackets.
The party is all night long. And if you over sleep, no worries, the early morning mortar attacks will get you jumping up and starting your day!
I have to see if our time share has any green zone openings!

Oh, so yesterday things were dire and a nightmare, however, overnight in the Republican utopia of Iraq, flowers are blooming and kids are singing merrily welcoming us as their saviors.
Shut up Democrats, we don't want you telling the truth!
