Can Legislators not call Shrub a Lier in the Congress? |
|
Just glanced by C-span and saw an interesting exchange where a female Dem (forgot her name: blond, young) read from an editorial.
The acting speaker cited her for breaking the rules which doesn't allow for a member of congress to call the president a prevaricator, directly or indirectly, on the congress floor.
Did I hear that right?
And if that's so, what if the President was lying?

1. That's correct. You can't make disparaging remarks about the President |
|
on the floor. But it's all a gray area now.

4. Why would you worry about House rules, when bushitler doesn't follow his own laws that he made with |
|
utilization of signing statements, and don't ask me which ones.

|
Or at the very least, changed.
