It's Simple! Either Govt Exists To Serve The People OR People Exist To Serve Govt.... |
|
The Constitution says the former, and the criminals who have overtaken our Govt are pushing the latter.
The one and only weapon available to the People to change this travesty is the right of all citizens to cast their ballot in elections.
Nothing is going to change until we change the officeholders in Nov 2008. And if we fail to elect a Democratic President in 2008 who is committed to change, then we are all going to have to share the blame as things get even worse than they are today.

2. Where is talk of Impeachment? |
|
Impeachment too hard for our "elected" stooges to initiate?..what is the deal when the people clamor for it and Bush is at 24%?

People exist to serve people (and animals, plants, the environment, etc.). At least that's my interpretation of "country" in JFK's inaugural address. I don't think that by "country" he meant the federal government, but the people of the country, but I could be wrong. ;)

http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/mod/1911taylor.htmlIt is simple. We exist for the government. We exist for the corporation. It'll take more than elections to change that.

5. Either there won't be any elections or Hilary Clinton will not change anything. |
|
US troops and blackwater will still be in Iraq. Jobs will still be outsourced. The middle class will still be screwed in the ass. Voting is an illusion. That's how bush got in power, by votes, even if some of them were stolen.

7. "And if we fail to elect a Democratic President in 2008" |

Any Democratic President? So any DINO will do? Ahhh, no, not good enough.
It's going to take more than that. Electing the front runner from the DLC is not going to do much good. We at least need someone to the left of the new center, preferably someone a little to the left of the real center.
That frog in the heating water? That's us, US. You and me. A DINO in the White House will only slow down a bit our race to be a 3rd world country.
