Dave Camp is a rePuke shill, as bad as Walberg and Knollenberg. He parrots EVERYTHING out of Bush's mouth, so I've decided writing and calling him is an exercise in futility.

I DID write him a "Dear Dave" letter, though:

Dear Mr. Camp,

As you appear to simply re-mouth the GOP and Bush Talking Points, this will be the last time I write to you: at 54 years old, I abhor wasting valuable time, and your views have nothing in common with my concerns as a Veteran and a Citizen.

Since you and the rest of your Republican colleagues seem bent on following Bush and the party over the cliff like lemmings, I can only encourage you to keep on doing what you're doing as it will assist communities like Owosso in mounting opposition to you in the general elections.

Rest assured, your votes to support the illegal war in Iraq, your opposition to SCHIP, and your general view that your entire constituency consists of Midland and Traverse City will be very helpful to a Democratic Party candidate for your seat a year from this November.

Camp thinks he's "bulletproof." As long as our congressional district is 10 miles wide, 200 miles long, and snakes through Midland (Home of DOW; guess how THEY vote) and Traverse City (the only other area in the country to try and ban Wind Generation because they don't like the way the "look": they vote like Midland) our chances of impoverished Shiawassee county ever getting proper representation are pretty bleak.

Our only hope is taking the the State Senate and getting re-districted.
