We won't have a real media again until we use the anti-trust laws to break them up into little pieces. There is no competition anymore!

10. The Dems don't have enough votes to override the veto. That's why it's been reported.
The Democrats can't/don't twist arms/threaten members to support our legislation as well as the Tom Delay's do.:( HELL...they can't even get all the freakin' DEMOCRATS to vote for SCHIP! It's pretty damn pathetic how weak they are.

It will probably fail, but then we should put the Repukes on record for rejecting health care for kids. If the Repuke half-assed compromise would make a difference for kids, I'd say do it, but the compromise would have at best cosmetic changes like giving the program a little more money. And hopefully, we'll get a good bill passed when the Democrats take office in 2009.
