De-constructing Adam.
This is a real person.

The man has his own business, selling Leadership symposiums. Basically he plugs basics management and motivational techniques in order to reach success. Just the way Chris Matthews recommends and also Donald Trump in the their new books.

He has a high church profile, and even uses his church to push his seminars, using examples out of the Bible to illustrate motivation and management methods.

He was the president of a very frou-frou business organization.

This guy is the future, and I can tell you, he and his wife have been a nightmare in his local community. Between him and his wife they have either lied or conspired to get their hands on the resources of the Association. They have been openly hostile, creating a trickle down effect of distrust in the community. And there is no way to stop them because the entire community is the same way.

How can anyone even see these people as leaders? He absolutely has no desire to lead, he just wants to take. He just wants to grab. He doesn't really see the community in an abstract way. Instead, he has his inner circle and within that circle, he takes care of his own.

Guys, pay attention. This is the future. Their concept of "leadership," means being king, and taking all that belongs to the king.

And if they are in jobs where their skills or business can be used to achieve a greater purpose for their inner circle, at the expense of their neighbors, community, or nation, they'll do it.

There HAS to be a way to stop them, because they are making this world a terrible place to live in.

2. His name is Joe Future.
He's small town Chris Matthew, and wannabe Donald Trump.

The point is, that people like him will cross the line in their community service jobs, because our civil laws make it way too easy for them to do. And our communities are degrading because of it.

3. I liked your sentence with "trickle down"
It is the great advantage of the pyramidal organization we have today. Wealth trickles up (clear from income distributions and disparities), and mistrust and contempt or punishment trickles down.

4. They are definitely having an immediate impact. And not a good one.

Just consider this, if a person wants to take over property through adverse possession, one of the requirements is that they must be hostile. Well, what if they want to advance their adverse possession while serving on the board? If they have this new, "Genghis Khan," personality we're cultivating in the corporate world, what other effect are they going to create but distrust in the community?

How is that a good thing?
