Is Bill Cosby losing his sight? |
|
He is always wearing dark sunglasses now.
This is a serious question, in case you are wondering.

He seems to have a very severe cataract on his right eye.

4. Oprah asked him "why the sunglasses" |
|
He took them off and showed everyone that he has had a case of pinkeye. It seems to be going around a lot.

8. Blaming African Americans for problems that are really not their fault |
|
He's been on this kick for a couple years now. I think he wrote a book recently and is on a book tour. So he's been on TV a bunch lately.
And with his money and his social conscience, there are many good things he COULD be doing to help African Americans instead of going on a book tour where he blames one parent homes and some other issues he thinks are more preventable than they actually are.
I have lost a lot of respect for him. And I used to just love him.

Yeah, I remember that from awhile ago. Who knows what happens to people?..I loved him, too, starting in the '60s when he was performing comedy.
Gotta feel sorry for the guy cause of his son being killed.
Can't everybody have a two parent family like the Cosby Show so you do the best you can.

18. wow, that's really noticeable |

I wonder whether there's something more going on than just a cataract; it's not as though he couldn't afford the surgery.

9. Eyesight goes as you get older |
|
I was born visually impaired back in 1955 in Washington, DC and can tell you now at 52 years old your eyesight begins to go a little at a time. Thank goodness for that my wife and I have been married over 25 years and if her eyesight were better...Well thank goodness it isn't!
Even though Cosby's eyesight maybe going his insights are right on. His words are to both young and old, black and white. He, at least to me, is at that stage in life where he can say what he wants since he "doesn't have to worry about losing his audience since he will always have one!"
