Diana jury hears of authentic engagement ring
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=292070

The Princess Diana inquest jury in London has been shown a copy of a receipt for an engagement ring bought by Dodi Al Fayed just before they died.

Police said the receipt and the ring were later found at Mr Al Fayed's Paris flat, the receipt bearing the words "bague fiancaille" or engagement ring.

Mr Al Fayed's visit to the jewellery store happened on the same day as he and the princess died in a car crash in a Paris tunnel.

nothing "real" about this.Prince William testified about how his last conversation with his Mum indicated she was "done' with El Fayed. William did not like him and Diana would never have been involved with someone her children did not approve of. Dodi knew Diana for a total of 6 weeks and spent less than 23 days with her. They were getting married? Yeah, right. She went on a vacation with El Fayed ironically because she thought he could "protect her and his father's employees and the actions of Dodi himself killed her. That is what was sad.

3. the fact that it was an engagement ring doesn't mean she would have said yes
Sad that he was deluded, but there was no way she'd have married him.

It's embarrassing that I know as much about her life as I do, but... the whole point of flirting with Dodi in front of the cameras was to make Hasnat Khan jealous. She was still in love with Dr. Khan (who sounds like a really good guy, BTW), and unfortunately for Dodi, he was just being used by Diana and by his father, who wanted to be able to say "in your face" to Prince Philip, whom he especially loathed.

Okay, turning off my National Enquirer brain (for now).
