What our Senators should do about the Clear Channel letter
Limbaugh challenged each of the 41 Senators who signed that letter to match the winning bid, and donate that amount to the Marine Corps scholarship fund. They should call his bluff and do it!! What a high class thing that would be, and it would leave Limbaugh utterly speechless.

The bid right now is around $2 million. That would be chump change to many of our Senators. Reid, Kerry, Kennedy, Kohl, etc. should all do it.

Nothing they EVER do is legitimate, and I am sure that their charities aren't either.

2. Do you know anything about this charity?
Just because Limbaugh endorses it doesn't mean it isn't a good charity.

4. Like I said
I would donate NOTHING to a charity endorsed by one of those slimeballs.
You can bet your ass that at the top of the charity is someone just like HIM taking his cut off the top.
Legitimate or not.

8. Not even Leukemia?
Every year WABC, the home network of his show, does their annual National Leukemia Foundation radiothon. I can't stand Rush either, but thats a great cause.

9. There are plenty of legitimate charities that RW'ers don't have their
filthy claws in. When you have a republican involved, almost ALWAYS you have someone that is stealing money from someone who deserves it.

14. It's not all red and blue
BUT, when you have outspoken wingers advocating certain charities, follow the money.
They are nothing but a "Good Old Boys" network.
Think about some of the Hurricane Katrina charities where the money simply vanished.
Rush doesn't give ten shits for anyone outside of his political sphere. So if he is advocating giving a large sum of money to a charity, you can almost have a safe bet that there is one of his own at the top skimming the profits.

5. They could make the donation to
a charity of thier own choosing in his name. Say like Mexican American Legal Defense Fund, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), National Gay and Lesbian Task Force to name a few that would certainly make his blood boil wouldn't it?

7. they should ignore it with dignity. Don't talk about it, divert the topic if discussed,
and pretend it simply isnt' there.

Take the high road, unlike our opponents.

We need to stop playing defense, period.
