This was priceless! Tweety was clearly taken by surprise and didn't know how to respond. You should have seen the expression on his face. Stephanie told him she was teasing after a minute but he wasn't certain.

2. Priceless!!! He had no idea how to react, and was stunned for a second,
then he decided to fight back by getting all defensive and trying to imply that she was refusing to discuss the subject at hand! Nice try Tweety...now go back to hawking your dumbass book!

3. I think it was a big mistake on Stephanie's part (and God knows I love her!)
It was a gratuitous jab, in jest or not. Very inappropriate at a debate about Stark's comments (appropriate/inappropriate) on the House floor. Stephanie was kicking Fat-Boy's fat ass up until then.

MAX NIX! Time for KO!

Matthews ego won't be able to take that.

5. Tweety is no more a right-wing tool than I am.
Tweety is politically schizoid. Ambivalent. Equivocal. Dishonest at times. But not a tool of the right-wing.

If he were a right-wing tool, he would be a Bill O'Rielly, Ru$h Limbaugh, or Sean Hannity. He is none of those. Not even close.

Jeebus. Defending Tweety. What has DU come to that I have to do that?

10. Gie yer head a shake, man
"politically schizoid"? Only in the VERY recent months.

What did it for me was the shameless schmoozing he did with Tom :puke: Delay that was caught on camera between segments.

He's been solid as a rock for at least 7 years in repeating RW talking points, smears and unfounded rumors.

I will grant you that NOTHING stands in the way of his OWN ego and opinions. But somehow, that never includes the views of our progressive champions.

11. You missed her point then.
He is a RW tool because he has fallen into the RW spin. The topic should be about the failure of the GOP to override the veto, not what Stark had to say. Matthews pointed out a few of w's stupid statements but left out the examples of w actually being amused. Why did they not show the "no wmds here" clip with the chimp smirking the whole time?

7. That was Stephani's Final Appearance
But you gotta admit .... she went out with style.

Tweety was visibly pissed about it and he wouldn't let it go. She was admitedly lame in claiming it was a joke.

The fact that she's right is immaterial.

12. That is exactly my point.
We need her and she is now persona non grata on Tweety's show. Sorry .. bad form.

9. That's the 2nd time this week that Tweety ended a segment by lecturing his guests.
Ed Schultz and his opponent were the first pair.

15. I think Tweety is getting the message that HE was a cheerleader when he thought it was cool to .....
.... felate the boy king. Now that he sees where the boy king took us, he has deep regrets. But he lashes out at those who call him on it.

I have said this before and I'll say it again ..... Tweety is not on our side, no matter what he says - and sometimes he says good stuff. But what he did, to salve his own precious ego, is unforgivable.

16. Yeah, what's up with that? I wonder if Mrs. Tweety has been
giving him the cold shoulder in the bedroom recently or something!

14. That was great...seeing Tweety's face was worth watching the
show.

That Kevin Miller looked like a pompous ass, and he made about as much sense as a can of tuna.

FWIW, Tweety more often than not, IS a RW tool...:D
