1. The previews have been excellent.
It's clear that Plame was working to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons, and the Bush Administration (or should that be the Cheney Adminstration?) completely kneecapped this option by burning her.

No war with Iran.

5. I liked what I saw about saving the kids in Niger.
I hated seeing the little girl who died two hours after she appeared on film. I am not sure how they spelled the product but three cheers for "fluffynut" or whatever the heck its called. No kid should die of malnutrition, its great they have found an inexpensive food product that the kids love and saves lives.

17. I'm all for saving kids, but why the hell should we devote resources to people who
have an average of 8 kids? (Said almost every female was a mother by age 16...that's fucking disgusting.)

20. They are not a developed country
They are not educated, either. (That was mentioned in the story as well, as I recall).

You can't fault them for that birth rate.

I thought it was interesting that they aren't concerned with food allergies, said it wasn't common as it is here in the United States.

If you could call it that... You'd think that with Poppy heading the CIA at one point, Dubya would have a little more respect for the agency (ha ha ... what a Pollyana!).

I can't wait to hear Larry Johnson's thoughts on this interview ... would be nice if he's a guest on KO tomorrow night.

54. And Valerie showed class and maturity by saying that her boss...
ripped her a new one (so to speak...) and that she deserved it. You'd NEVER hear one of the wingnuts admitting a mistake and accepting responsibility. At least sincerely, that is.

I wonder if any opinions have been changed with this interview. In lesser developed wingnut brains, Vanity Fair/"Greta Garbo" will always trump the outing of a CIA operative. It's those "in the middle" I wonder about.
