What I Don't Believe
I don't believe that our money is better spent trying to blow up as many people as possible rather than ensuring the health of our population.

I don't believe that you can judge a person's worth by the color of his or her skin, the language he or she speaks, or, in fact, whether that person IS a he or a she.

I don't believe that even illegal immigrants pose a greater threat to our security and future well-being as the millions of assholes who are already here.

I don't believe that corporations are people any more than the Honda robot is people.

I don't believe corporations make more benevolent masters than government.

I don't believe the world is about to end.

I don't believe that silencing fools and lunatics is to our advantage.

I don't believe we have the right OR the responsibility to be the world police.

I don't believe ANY religion has cornered the market on Truth.

I don't believe science has either.

I don't believe that the owners of the corporate media care about democracy anymore.

I don't believe that the Republican Party of the U.S. and the Communist Party of the old Soviet Union are all that different other than in the economic model they prefered. Both put party loyalty before loyalty to country. Both were wrong.

I don't believe human beings are as evil as some people make them out to be.

I don't believe the left is always right and the right is always wrong, though it's usually a damn good bet.

I don't believe that "violence never solved anything." But I do believe it's the first resort of fools and madmen.

I don't believe that power always corrupts. But I do believe that it tends to attract the corruptible.

I don't believe that all cops are assholes. But I do believe that too many assholes are cops.

I don't believe Americans read enough.

I don't believe the Republican Party cares as much about America as it does about itself.

I don't believe there's no difference between Republicans and Democrats. I also don't believe the difference is obvious enough to the average American.

I believe that should change.

1. You're so negative, focusing on what you don't believe in!

2. I don't believe I disagree with very much of that
but some of them are kinda vague "I don't believe human beings are as evil as some people make them out to be."

Which people? And what is their agenda?

But now I am asking you questions again.

"'Now you are asking me questions again.'
'I'm sorry, sir. I'm afraid I don't understand your question.'
'When didn't you say we couldn't punish you? Don't you understand my question?'
'No, sir. I don't understand.'
'You've just told us that. Now suppose you answer my question.'
'But how can I answer it?'
'That's another question you're asking me.'
'I'm sorry, sir. But I don't know how to answer it. I never said you couldn't punish me.'
'Now, you're telling me when you did say it. I'm asking you to tell me when you didn't say it.'
Clevinger took a deep breath. 'I always didn't say you couldn't punish me, sir.'
'That's much better, Mr. Clevinger, even though it is a barefaced lie. Last night in the latrine. Didn't you whisper that we couldn't punish you to that other dirty SOB we don't like? What's his name?'
'Yossarian, sir,' Lieutenant Scheisskopf said.
'Yes, Yossarian. That's right. Yossarian. Yossarian? Is that his name? What the hell kind of a name is Yossarian?'
Lieutenant Scheisskopf had the facts at his finger tips. 'It's Yossarian's name, sir,' he explained." Catch 22 p. 79
