3. AM transmission in San Diego is iffy - all I can get are mexican or Xtian stations |
|
I'm wondering if Clear Channel AM transmitter tower farm for the area have been hit. KLSD was off the air as of 0930, even though Stacy was going to try and stay on to cover the fire, and KOGO (AM600 "NEWS and RWTALK")lost their AM signal and has apparently taken over FM 101.5 with their news teams to cover the fire. (Which means no Hedgekook - who is probably amongst the rest of the unfortunates that are how under evacuation orders - or Fatbo in San Diego County) All streaming is also down.
On a side note, watching both KUSI and the CBS affiliate, it's somewhat amusing seeing the reporters pull out the Thomas guide to point out where the fire is and where they are.
