3. He came in loaded for bear and ready to slay it - which he did |
|
He is so good looking it was hard to pay attention to just how angry a dude he is about the lack of leadership in this country.

19. I gave out such a guffaw |
|
when he said 'Leadership' - my daughter came running into the room asking if I was okay!
He needs to be interviewed much more, in my opinion. Wonder how tweety of tfucker would handle him? Nah, he wouldn't go on those shows, again--in my opinion.

7. I wondered why he didn't mention how the war |
|
had impacted the forest service and national guard and hence the ability to stifle the fires before they became a conflagration. However, I do believe he was making a valid bigger point He also had a somewhat smug smile on his face at the end which was disturbing.

5. Carlin gave him the highest praise I've even heard Carlin give ANYONE. |
|
He actually said that the first 35 minutes is the best news show of all time. Carlin is not one to shine sunshine up one's skirt. No way.

13. I saw him last summer in concert, and he looked awful. I hadn't seen him in yeras, so |
|
I was pretty shocked. He said that he' been sober for almost a year - for the first time since he was 14 years old. And I thought, "Wow, drinking must've agreed with him," 'cause I'd never seen him llok so bad.
There was a long table that covered the width of the stage, and he walked around it during his act but never, at any time, did he not have one hand on the table. It made me think that maybe he was afraid he'd pass out or lose his balance or something.
Most of his act that night was actually about suicide. He tried to put a funny spin on it, but it was just depressing and not funny. He also seemed angry and totally disheartened.
Very sad feeling, walking away.
The one high note was when he said that Keith does the best news show on TV. You could tell that KO was pleased. That did make me happy! I think Keith is just starting to get the recognition and respect he so much deserves, and I think he's loving every minute of it, too!

O'Reilly hates KO and has a history of threatening to sic FOX security on people he doesn't like.
So....uh yea. Never mind. LOL

And high praise from Carlin indeed. As KO said, "If you have the platform and you're not doing anything with it, you might as well have a trained monkey out here."
As is the case on so many "news" programs.
