that's what I've been thinking too. If Congress had any pine at all, they would tie any further war funding and rescinding W*s tax cut's for the rich together. That would put junior's nuts in a vice.
"So, Mr President, you think only the poor and middle class should pay for the war? Why are you letting tax cuts for those that stand to profit from the war sttand in the way of funding the troops so desperately need?"

if the Dems were smart (which they aren't), they would make sure everyone understands that while these things might not have "TAX INCREASE" written on them, the effect is the same.
The money is not in our wallets, nor our bank accounts. And as you said, SOMEBODY IS GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ AT SOME POINT.
Where do the Republicans think this money is going to come from?
